OpenC at Battersea

Remco van Buren Remco van Buren Winner of the Claris Rising Star Award 2024

For one of our OpenC clients, we have collected almost one thousand (!) Studio records, yet. Based on this experience, I can confidently say that Claris Studio can be applied at a large scale. This was a key point in my presentation at Apple Battersea on 19th June 2025. You can find my slide deck here.

Exquisite group of Claris Partners

I felt proud and honoured to have the opportunity to share my Studio experiences with the group of almost 50 exquisite Claris Partners.

I learned some valuable things from the questions that were asked during my session, and afterwards in 1-on-1 chats. For example the comment of HOnza: Take into account the maximum length of a URL web browser allow, when you try to Base64-encode a lot of JSON-data to create a pre-filled Studio Form View.

Learning from other Battersea sessions

And I got great value out of the other sessions and dialogues as well, both during the morning, and in the afternoon. More than I can mention here:

During drinks, my learning process continued. Mark explained to me how Claris and Claris partners deliver a lot of value to the US education market with Apple School Manager and how this is now translated to the European education market. I think this is a beautiful example of the combined power of Apple, Claris and Claris partners. I believe this is also a win if you look at it from a compliance perspective.

Also, Arjan shared a few good ideas about how we can collaborate on leads and sales opportunities with Claris and partners.

Claris Studio

At OpenC we are convinced that Claris Studio is already a strong part of the future of Claris and the Claris platform. We understand that the Studio-platform is a huge, huge undertaking. So we want to encourage Claris to keep up the good work and double down on the Studio platform!
