Meet the people behind OpenC

In 2025, during the Claris Engage in Austin, USA, Remco was honoured to receive the Claris Rising Star Award 2024. Read here why Claris granted him this Claris Excellence Award.

Remco is the founder and owner of OpenC. He is a forward-looking and integral thinker with extensive experience in complex and strategic challenges. As a committed professional, he focuses on both people and the intended result. Remco fulfills various roles, including those of responsible manager, advisor and content specialist. He feels at home in both corporate and SME environments, at the intersection of business and IT. His specialises in developing InsurTech and traditional insurance and inspection solutions, including the entire IT chain.

OpenC brings all this experience together to let customers benefit from its knowledge. In his spare time, Remco likes to visit museums and watch good films and series.

Analytical, patient, people oriented, and loves to be socially involved. Romein is careful, honours his commitments and digs deep to understand the fundamental principles behind every problem.

Romein develops complex web applications. He is also the developer of this website and manages the infrastructure on which OpenC's software solutions are hosted.

He speaks several languages, including English, German and Spanish, and is fascinated by Greek mythology. Romein is an avid hiker and cyclist, a great lover of birds, (live) fish and nature. Moreover, Romein likes to photograph them.

Practical, critical, analytical, creative and sensitive. Anya enjoys to think about business problems and to hang on to it until they are solved.

After working for a few years as a supervisor of visually impaired people, she was introduced to the web development platform Claris Studio. She immediately became enthusiastic about it and now she cannot let go of it.

A few years ago she had already been introduced to Claris FileMaker.

In her spare time she likes to hike in the mountains. You can often find her with her camera in nature. Traveling is also something she really enjoys doing. And when at home she likes to paint and to cook.

Enthusiastic, creative, versatile. Always smiley and tackles things thoroughly.

With her experience as an international sales consultant for software products, Martine is the point of contact for all sales questions about OpenC's solutions. Martine guides customers to suitable software solutions.
